Just found this regional sub-forum, didn't know it existed! I've been to Paragon (now closed) and know Jeep owners who go to Rausch Creek: www.rauschcreekoffroadpark.org which is between Allentown and Harrisburg. If anyone knows of trails in the Southeast PA / NJ area, please pass that...- JackMac

How do you outfit the LR3 for family vacations (gear hauling)
Do you have the cargo barrier? That could help to fit more in the back. I get by OK with family in the first two rows, and cargo in the back. I also have the OEM cargo rack and bag for the roof. And, I have the Yakima OEM bike rack hanging off the hitch. -

Dash fade and leather seat treatment
I use Lexol Cleaner and Lexol Conditioner with good results on the leather seating surfaces. For the other interior plastics, I just started using Griots interior cleaner. It did an okay job, but be careful with overspray on the windows, it doesn't like to come off! Also, just ordered... -

I did the dealership track as well - it was the dealer's first LR4, my first time on their track, salesman's first time taking someone on the track. LR4 did just fine, but the side incline angles were a little over the edge of my comfort zone. -
Best alternative to the LR IPod connectivity kit
The most simple solution and least expensive is to connect the iPod via Belkin cable to the aux input (below). I've had this setup for 5 years, no problems. An iPod will not deliver "cd quality sound", however. The head unit also supports MP3 on CD. Another low cost option, and nothing... -
