You have been indoctrinated, congrats. Just be kind when you get that JD Powers initial quality survey

    scratch on plastic

A product which dresses black trim should help to hide it. You can't really repair it unless you replace the trim piece (which, by they way, is not too expensive). I don't have a specific product recommendation, maybe try checking griotsgarage.com

    2010 LR4 Pricing

Congrats! Post up some pics when you get chance. Rainy day here in the PA/NJ area, but the weekend should improve. I'm always amazed when driving the LR3 that the rain, wind, and puddles feel almost non-existant.

    drilling licence plate ?

Double sided tape could work, but may not be a good long term solution. Or perhaps a bracket mounted to the front tow hook mountpoint. However, if you are going to mount the front plate, might as well just drill it and use the normal process. When the plate is mounted, you won't see the...

    2010 LR4 Pricing

Well, I was behind the wheel of an LR4 about 3 months ago, it just wasn't moving at the time  http://www.landroverworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=15413 Curious how the new driveline will perform, so hopefully will get to splash around in the rain on a test drive later this week.

    LR3 Mudflaps

Installation requires drilling, so may be a challenge to someone ready to take them off. I've seen new sets online for about $70 fwiw.

Thanks for the observations. Nothing wrong with an additional 75hp, especially in a vehicle which weighs nearly 3 tons. I'll be at LR West Chester tomorrow to pick up some new accessories, and will fit in a test drive of the LR4 as well.

Sport Mode causes rear end thunk at low speeds?

A relatively common issue. Mine was fixed with a transmission code reflash. 7 months since that was done, and the issue has not returned. Some discussion here: http://www.landroverworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=13950&page=2 and here...

    steering wheel wobble

Uneven tire wear either on the inside our outside edge, usually because of an alignment issue (such as excessive camber) or possibly other suspension issues. It gives the edge a "stepped" wear pattern, which will cause road noise and the bumpy feeling right before you come to a full stop...

Land Rover Dealer Service in Eastern PA/Western Jersey

Parsippany would probably be closest to you. Willow Grove is also an option. I haven't serviced at Willow Grove, but did have a very positive experience with them once. We were travelling on the PA turnpike, headed for Montreal, and got a windshield full of oil sprayed from a vehicle in...

    2005 Service Items

I've had some of those items on my 2005 as well, now at 57K. Plus the fuel tank replacement (recall), clock spring (recall) and coolant level sensor (very common issue with 2005's). Soldiering on without warranty

    2010 LR4 Pricing

The LR3 has been well sorted since 2006. A 2009 will be fine. The LR4 has significant mechanical and interior changes. Exterior changes are less noticeable, especially from a distance. I've seen the 2010 LR4 and RRS in person. The new calipers are massive, not suprised that 18" won't fit...

Wife wants to use my Rover

Great thread. My wife is now the primary driver of our LR3, unless we are driving together, then I take the helm. She even learned how to use terrain response last winter (not bad after 4+ years, eh? ) hey gtc, just keep her away from the M3 if you find one! I was looking...

Can NAV ping you for speed cameras?

If you have a portable Navi, such as Garmin or TomTom, there are lots of options available: http://tech.yahoo.com/blogs/hughes/32634 The technology has been around for a while. I like umbertob's idea, but you really benefit more from this capability when driving or travelling in an area...
