2015 land rover Evoque
I would check the warranty book provided when you purchased the vehicle. Is your RR still under factory warranty coverage by the in service date? its sure under millage wise. I never had any issues with the sensors on my 2014 evoque. Or call another LR dealer and check with them. JD- JDiehl

Silver Letters and Trim go Black
The lettering on my wife’s RR has also done the same but just on the front of the hood. I’ll probably go with all back lettering some day soon.- JDiehl

Leaving the hood / bonnet open overnight for rats.
I leave my hood up all night fairly often with no issues but it is parked in the garage. -

water inside pass. floorboard
After hand washing my LR there has been some water on the passenger floor board. It drips from under the glove box. I checked the sunroof drains with some weed eater string but they feel open and clear. I may pull the side intake vents and throw an eye at the drain behind. Any other ideas other... -

Gps maps update
I received the same letter in the mail for my Wife's Evoque for the nav update. I don't remember the last time we used a cars system. Always just grab my phone that gets constant updates and is much easier to use. I am going to keep my money and skip the update. JD -

Engine cover
I will pull it off and see if there is any difference in engine noise just for fun. My only other thought is it may channel cooler air from the grille over the motor while in motion. Which would still not reduce heat soak after shut down. JD -
Engine Oil Level: "Overfilled" message with a burning smell (right after delivery)
When we took delivery of my wife's RR Evoque it also had a slight burning oil or hot smell to it. I felt it was just due to all the components heating up and breaking in. It only had 6 miles on it and I drove it home six hours. It went away after awhile and has not returned like that new car... -
Engine cover
Other than looks does the plastic engine cover have any functional purpose? I'm a little strange but after getting home from a long trip I raise the hood in an effort to minimize heat soak. The plastic cover just seems to trap the heat in even longer. JD -

Crash - Audi R8 GT vs Range Rover Evoque
Always look at the A post to determine the extent for damage. Mark was right on the Audi the crumple zone worked and protected the passenger compartment. The Evoque on the other hand had major intrusion into the passenger compartment. The reinforced boron steel in the door probably saved the RR...- JDiehl

Warranty
Dealer said that I must get an inspection on the R4 and fix what they deem inadequate. For 3 more years and 50k miles it runs $3682. For 4 years and 50k miles it was $5847 both with $100 deductible. I only called one dealer and I'm thinking the prices may very. I just can't stand the... -
Warranty
My extended warranty is up at the first of the year. I am a little leary being soo far away from a dealership with no coverage and all the possible repairs left up to me. Have the 2010 LUX with 50k miles and had zero issues with it. Does anyone know if an extended warranty package is available... -
