    They do. Biggest give away is, that the air intake tube will be sitting directly on the upper fan shroud. Usually there is a 1/2" gap. You can also feel when the mounts are bad. When you shift into drive, the engine will jump up. For the amount of work involved, it is not a maintenance item.

    That's funny. There's no way JLR would recommend an independent shop to do their repairs ( unless it's engine machining work). The liability is too high.

    The correct repair is to replace the motor mounts. That is a major ordeal. Or, you can remove that brush looking section that is in the fan shroud. It just snaps in.

    Either a sticking thermostat or the mechanical cooling fan hitting the shroud. With the engine off, turn the fan by hand and check for any rubbing on the shroud.

    The retaining screws for the overhead console come in from the top. So the headliner has to be lowered for access.

    The P0089-64 DTC is caused by an error in the PCM software. I'm thinking your fuel filter was probably restricted, the recall replaces the filter. Which could change the fuel volumes and pressures ever so slightly. That being said, this doesn't happen with every fuel cap recall.

    I've never seen an LR4 diff drain plug with the allen head. Transfer cases have the allen type plugs.

    Find another shop. QUICK! Evap DTCs won't cause a stalling concern.
