Coolant Crossover Pipe Repair 5.0 V8

I only point it out because it matters in the context of people on this board trying to figure out how often they should do preventative maintenance on the item. Yours is an extreme outlier data point, and I was just trying to determine why.

Engine oil analysis results on 2010 LR4 V8

Yeah, that's wild. Then again, if you amortize it over each month, it's the [Sally Strothers voice] price of a small cup of coffee.

Engine oil analysis results on 2010 LR4 V8

The Motul oil I use averages out at around $10.20 per liter...

Front-end suspension rattle and banging is gone!

Definitely this. My dealer did mine when it was still under the CPO warranty, and I believe it took them just about a full week. Maybe just four days. Regardless, that equates to a lot of downtime for a garage mechanic with a full time regular job.

    Front Bull bar Lr4 2014

I used to be team "hidden winch," but now I think an ARB is the way to go.

    Wheels and Tires?

You don't need a lift to run the 265/65 tires. In fact, the lift rods are universally a bad idea unless you are also running the SYA kit. Anyway, the max tire size on a stock-ish LR4 is not affected by the lift; it's affected by the tires hitting the frame horns on a turn, and what you can do...

    Front Bull bar Lr4 2014

That's a standard winch bumper sold for 4Runners. There is no such bumper for the LR4. The closest is probably one of the bumpers that Lucky8 offers.

What's a "4runner comptible bull bar"? And you want it under $500? Lol.

IID app crashes when looking at certain live values

GAP is pretty good about getting back to you if you email them. First, though, is to make sure you've downloaded all the firmware updates to the iiD tool.

2013 LR4 with overheated engine...what would you pay

There's so much Lucas in those photos that this guy has to jump for joy when he sees an LR4 pulling into the parking lot.

    Lug Nuts Will Not Budge

The second one on the post above (the green Rocky Altitude) is still my current trail/enduro bike. I also built a hardtail Canfield that I've really just been using to ride to work 2 or 3 days a week.

    Lug Nuts Will Not Budge

Don't have too many pictures of my own car on my phone (I take more pictures of my bike), but here are some I've posted on here before. https://www.landroverworld.org/threads/showoff-your-lr4.23059/page-205#post-237129 Scroll down on that thread for a few more. Another...

    Lug Nuts Will Not Budge

One of the reasons I love having my Defender steelies and the accompanying LR129123 Land Rover lug nuts. Bonus is they allow me to run the dorky Land Rover plastic hubcap.

2013 LR4 with overheated engine...what would you pay

I certainly understand what you are saying, but what I'm saying is that, when it's done, the one you own isn't similar to one you can just go buy. It's much better. That said, I'd price it the way you suggest. I value my time too much to mess with it if it's not significantly worth it.

Current Brake Pad and Rotor Recommendations?

If you are just doing pads, it's a one banana job. Over 8 years of ownership, I've replaced my front brake pads 3 times and my front rotors 4 (didn't like the Brembo rotors I put on in April, so swapped them out a month ago or so for OE Land Rover rotors). For pads alone, the only special tool...

    Lucky 8 SYA Kit Problem

That's the same code I just dealt with. It would sometimes pop up every 4 or 5 days, and sometimes more than once in a day. Only difference is mine was C1130-66 (AF), but I've never really made sense of what the code in the parenthesis means on these. I had already replaced my front struts...

    Fuel tank capacity- Sucks

He's moved on to new Defender land. This forum was slow to create a new Defender subforum, so most of those owners are on a different board. If I recall correctly, he managed to put a substantial number of miles on his LR4. Well above 200k miles. And, he did not have many issues with his.

2013 LR4 with overheated engine...what would you pay

It'd be worth more than that, though. When done, it would be an LR4 with a known, worked-over engine that's ready to go, and not a used engine with 100k miles and an unknown history.

    Lucky 8 SYA Kit Problem

There's a good portion of the airbag on the struts that just folds over itself when sitting at normal ride height. Guessing it sealed itself in? I changed my front struts at around 100k miles and just did my rears about 2.5 years later at around 128k miles. If yours was an AZ truck its whole...

    Lucky 8 SYA Kit Problem

You may have given it elsewhere, but any story on the air strut failure? How old was it? Was there anything you know that caused the leak?

Poor idle control with AC on

Any way to do a smoke test on these engines to spot a vacuum leak before you go through all the trouble of removing all that stuff?

Current Brake Pad and Rotor Recommendations?

Not long. Realistically, the pads are worn too far by the time you get to the sensor. I had that warning pop up once, but it was my rear brake pad sensor that went bad. Pads were still good.

    Lucky 8 SYA Kit Problem

My advice would be to get your suspension problems addressed first. It's only going to get worse. What is the suspension code you get? Regardless, at your mileage you are way overdue for a compressor if you legitimately are on your first one. Most go at around 70k miles. You may also try...

    2011 LR4 TIMING JOB

You should probably do a search. A wealth of information on this forum that it'd be a shame for people to have to repost again. Also check Atlantic British's youtube page. They have a video on the job. Spoiler alert: it is not easy.
