Green/Orange/Factory LCA Bushings from Atlantic British?

I totally understand your logic, however, the ones you put in will corrode and the other bits will need to be refreshed (ideally) so part of my reasoning was I'd rather just replace them all more often and in oem fashion for much less $ than try to stretch the time on the whole system just...

Easy way to spot HD package on '14 - '16 LR4, but how about other years/models

Hey, you can actually see the controller/actuator, or whatever it is, mounted to the side of the HD rear diffs. It's hard to see of course but if you could get it on a lift or raise the suspension to max, you can see from underneath or from one side through fender liner area. I just forget...

Green/Orange/Factory LCA Bushings from Atlantic British?

It was just insulting to have you suggest I was confusing a ball joint with a bushing which would require thinking a ball joint could ever be a polyurethane thingy rather than a metal "ball" ? As you know I replaced all suspension parts myself last year..... plus i'm tired of seeing these...

Green/Orange/Factory LCA Bushings from Atlantic British?

i'm not a moron so no, it wasn't an out to suggest i'd be thinking people are putting poly bushings into their ball joint sockets

Green/Orange/Factory LCA Bushings from Atlantic British?

if i meant fukking BALL JOINTS i would have written BALL JOINTS maybe i just didn't notice them even if they were shot but to the point of your reply, i a balljoint is not a bushing nor can one be confused about using a ploy bushing in a ball joint location

Green/Orange/Factory LCA Bushings from Atlantic British?

nobody seems to consider that the factory bushing design uses itself as a flexible damper on the system whereas these poly version are just sitting there free to rotate. The poly require 100% reliance on the air struts and dampers for the quality of ride and handling. I like poly for a car...

Green/Orange/Factory LCA Bushings from Atlantic British?

LOL - oem bushings sure as heck last a lot longer than 60-70k Mine were fine past 100k and not replaced until 130's though they probably were past ready by 120's.

    255/55/20 vs 255/50/20

Actually I think these lr’s still use a wheel sensor as proven by running a gps and seeing obvious % differences depending on tire size. It becomes especially apparent with 32+ and larger.

Has anyone reflashed their 3.0SC V6 aka Tune?

If only it were turbos... you’d be seeing 450hp and a lot more torque plus fuel economy when easy on it. My bmw 535 wagon in-line 6 tt has 420lb-ft now and still gives me 27-30 mpg if cruising 65-70. It’s a 6mt too though.

So You Want an Auxiliary Fuel Tank for Your LR4...

    Pendulum Weights

There shouldn’t be any bolt close enough to contact them. Move the bolt. They dampen the highway vibrations.

So You Want an Auxiliary Fuel Tank for Your LR4...

The inverter is face mounted into some space behind the driver side rear cargo area plastic wall up high in the horizontal section that stands out the farthest which is just below the edge where the cargo area roll/cover would align. It’s powered from the house battery as are all the interior...

So You Want an Auxiliary Fuel Tank for Your LR4...

What are the cylindrical canisters near filler at top of lines? Fuel Filters? I have the tank and it’s definitely a top 5 most appreciated/useful mods item for me. My list is sort of funny when you see people going on about farkles. It is camping/“overlanding” prioritized probably with true...

    LR4 off-road upgrades

Braking is still everything I’d hope for and I’ve tested emergency full stops which were just as good as before. If one wanted a bit more on these rotors, harsher pads could be used that would also take more abuse. The H&R are really well made. I got them initially to get 17’s on without a...

    Oil separator (catch can)

I have one on my bmw which has the n54 inline 6 twin turbo. Supposedly helps with that build up. Had the valves and such walnut blasted few yrs back then added the catch. It’s a common thing though on that turbo motor

    Squeaky LR3

it should be fine but honestly i don't know what i used other than a tiny amount just to help them initially snug in easily. i think but you should look up the Atlantic British repair video to see what they suggest.

    LR4 off-road upgrades

Very cool but I don't think you have a custom tire size ;) They don’t make a 275/75.... you probably have the 275/70 roughly 33”. With the mods you have done, you should consider a 34” next. I have all the same mods plus the strut spacers. I’m using the km2 in 34” 285/70-18. : Never mind, I...

    Squeaky LR3

I used Permatex anti seize on the control arms and just a lithium on the sway bars because I had it sitting there. (Needed it already for the poly bushings I replaced on another car) Never used the Lucas red.

    Squeaky LR3

You need to be sure to use the correct stuff. Usually lithium is best but just know poly bushings don’t like petroleum products. Also depends which bushings you mean. Sway bar vs control arms, etc.

I like Lucky8 but for something like that i'd usually opt for straight up "genuine".
