I'll have to agree as well. Why change such a smooth and quiet vehicle. If you do a search in the LR3 forum you can find a few people that installed the magnaflo exhaust then quickly took it off as the sound was too annoying. -

I didn't change anything. Just hooked up the boat trailer and everything worked fine. Rear view camera worked great to line-up the hitch with the trailer. -

Hardest part was rotating the connector around in every direction to get it through the hole in the bumper. I did strip out the head on one of the screws. Pretty sure I ended up replacing 2 of the screws with better quality stainless steel screws. -

I know one person with over 300K miles on that LR3 4.4 and another over 250K miles. That may be one of the longest lasting engines ever. (OK, maybe the Audi 2.8 from the late 1990's still has that title) -

Those of us that are used to the V8 in the 2010-2013 LR4 think the SCV6 in the 2014-2016 LR4 was a downgrade. However, since you are coming from an LR3, the SCV6 will be perfectly fine for you and you also get an 8-speed transmission. I'm not sure if there are any drastic differences between... -

I agree, keep it to 150K miles. I'm at 119K miles and decided to take mine to 150K miles. At that point I will need the next set of new control arms, another transmission service, transfer case and differential fluid change, another set of brakes and rotors, probably another set of front hubs... -
