I'm at 107K and the clockspring voices appear on really hot days but seem to go away on cooler days. All of my previous Audis had this issue as well. -

Faulty Reservoir Float Sensor...
Not that I recall. And I have had 2 of those floats fail already. More likely the engine is running harder (higher rpm) due to max AC output in hot weather. -

I had the shop foreman at my LR dealer go over mine at 98K. Found the water pump leaking again (water pump #3) and oil leaking out of the passenger side valve cover. Replacing the valve cover gasket would have been an expensive item but CPO warranty covered it. However, the oil was dripping... -

Mine is exactly the same. Electronic dipstick reads full but the Mityvac only pulls out 7 quarts at 7500 mile oil change intervals. -

Great list avslash...very comprehensive and I've had to do most of those items as I'm at 105K miles now. I'll agree that the transmission fluid and filter is due. Use the kit from Atlantic British now and it will make the next transmission service so much easier. -

2013 LR4 Rotors and Breakpads
FWIW - I have gone through many sets of brake rotors and pads over the last 12 years and from my experience the OEM pads and rotors work the best. No warping problems and good stopping performance. -

Thank you for the explanation. After all my years on here I never knew that the LR3 & LR4 had different suspension tuning. But I always thought our old LR3 handled better in heavy rain, packed ice and a washboard beach access road than our LR4s. Now I know why. However, I so enjoy the power... -
