    Still apprehensive

Totally agree. Our LR3 was not a confidence-inspiring vehicle. Suddenly the radio would go silent, or the AC stop blowing or random dash warning lights would come on...all usually resolved by a simple restart. Ours did light-up the "Christmas Tree of death" (all warning lights come on) lower...

LR4s out there holding their value maybe more than just quite well

And if you are ok with being stranded on the side of the road in your Audi on a ski trip to VT on a cold winter night. Once my Defender build went over $80K I considered the new SQ7 as well. Insanely fast, beautiful interior, so much technology. Then the WTF moment hit me - regular tires (not...

LR4s out there holding their value maybe more than just quite well

Warning: The next 2 steps on this journey are the impressive test drive followed by spending $80K to order one.

    2020 Defender Drive Impressions.

Having test driven a P400 for over an hour on all types of roads, my answer is yes. It does not sound like my LR4 in terms of V8 growl but it certainly moves faster and is more agile.

LR4s out there holding their value maybe more than just quite well

Did anyone else here own an original (2001-2005) Audi allroad? The LR4 is "deja vu all over again" if you did. I had a 2002 allroad then another 2005 before they became extinct and morphed into the "smallroad" we all hated. We all agreed that the 2.7T engine, 6MT transmission, air suspension...

LR4s out there holding their value maybe more than just quite well

Age...The newest LR3 is now 12 years old. And rust...I recently saw an LR3 from Nantucket Island with 13,000 miles getting a new frame installed.

LR4s out there holding their value maybe more than just quite well

Congrats to you as well CincyRovers. Mine supposedly arrives in late February. I went with a P400 110, X-Dynamic HSE, regular and advanced offroad packs, cold climate pack, heated rear seats for the kids, extra rear AC for the dog, better radio for me and a few accessories including a tow...

LR4s out there holding their value maybe more than just quite well

Exactly. As much as I love my LR4 I had to accept that it will not last forever. When I drive my wife's LR4 with 32K miles I know that mine is getting tired. Hers simply rides smoother and absorbs bumps and potholes better, corners better, shifts better, engine is quieter at idle, driver seat...

Selling - Range Rover, Evoque, LR4 TPMS Sensors Sensor 315MHZ Tire Pressure Monitor OEM.

2013 and older LR4's have 315 mhz sensors and 2014 and newer have 433 mhz sensors. Tire places install these into the wheels. The threaded stem is where you inflate the tire.

    Manual & Oil Change

Keep in mind that the "Service Required" message on a 2011 was designed so that it can only be reset by the dealer. My service required message has been coming on every day for the last 7 years and 126,000 miles. And I change the oil every 5K miles.

    Add seat memory?

Mirror memory comes with the seat memory feature. I agree...I set the rear mirror view wider to cover the side blind spots while my wife sets it for the view behind the LR4.

    Non-OEM/OEM TPMS (433mhz) for 2016 LR4 HSE recommendations?

And you can post the used 315 MHz sensors for sale.

    Nokian WR G4

My neighbor went through 2 sets of the OE Contis on her LR4 and complained that they were terrible in winter, especially on ski trips to Maine. I told her to get a set of WRG3's instead. After just one winter trip she agreed that they are amazing in winter conditions compared to the Contis.

    Nokian WR G4

Great tires. Best tire in winter if you are not running dedicated winter tires.

    Add seat memory?

The seat memory feature was the exact reason we ended-up ordering an HSE-LUX. I can see nicer leather, the center console refrigerator and a better sound system being "luxury" items. But seat memory should have been standard on all models - like power windows.

LR4s out there holding their value maybe more than just quite well

A new Defender forum just appeared here. Unfortunately we're all over on this forum already: https://landroverforums.com/forum/2020-defender-60/ I'll still be here since my wife's LR4 has 36K miles and we're keeping it "forever".

LR4s out there holding their value maybe more than just quite well

I spent over an hour test driving a P400 110 and ended-up ordering one that will arrive in February or March. My LR4 has 126K miles and the dealer was hoping I would trade it. He said they received over 50 calls on the last LR4 that was traded-in and it had similar mileage. Dealers typically...

FS: (4) 255/55/19 Michelin Latitude Tour HP tires - used only 6k miles

Try the Audi Q7 forum too...19" Q7 wheels use 255/55/19 tires too. And that group is more likely to buy a high quality, smooth riding road tire.

    2020-2021 Defender wheel sizes?

No, the LR4 wheels and tires do not fit the Defender. Different wheel offset and different size tires. I have a set of winter tires on wheels you can have for cheap. You would probably need to swap out the TPMS sensors or ignore the warning triangle...
