If you just can't unsee those exposed wires now (I wouldn't be able to either), then try using some tweezers to pull the sheath out a bit and rewrap the bundle, or bust out the tried and true Sharpie and start coloring. -

What were your main gripes with BT/wireless controllers? I may be towing an Airstream Basecamp at some point and will be revisiting this thread. I have heard consistently good things about the Tekonsha but wireless has obvious benefits if it's reliable. -

I always wondered about the physics of that off-center step and how well the attachment system would support that lateral force as you start up it. I think I'll go with a no-drill/no-dismantle passenger side option for starters. -
LR4 Rear Ladder Install Help
I've been having a hell of a time sourcing the OEM ladder but reports like this make me veer to the aftermarket options that go on the starboard side and hook on various edges of the rear hatch. I do like the OEM look and keeping everything stock, though. @cbboard did you ever get this sorted out? -

Just curious, sounds like you're talking about the ladder they sell with the little curve in it that goes on the passenger side, vs the OEM ladder and Frontrunner style that goes on the driver side. Other than the rust, were you happy with it on that side?
