10 days new - water on the floor

Not sure what state you're in, I went through the Lemon Law process in California, before tossing that word out, let the dealer have their chance at fixing it, be sure to keep a record of everything said, by whom, and what was done on paper, usually just dealer paperwork. Use email rather than...

    Voice Recognition

It's down right horrible technology for a MY2015 vehicle. I don't use it myself. I can make a call or look up an address with one voice command using my phone. You're not missing much.

    Emergency Braking System

Congrats on the purchase. Try a cone with an egg, Brady Bunch style! Do you have the adaptive cruise control, ACC? I had the option to order that for 15' but passed on it. Auto braking applies to that technology. However LR says its not an emergency system. Maybe the sticker is standard...

    Great Deal

For that price, you think you would get a picture of an actual 2016?

    Trying to find torx hardware

I use McMaster Carr for all my hardware needs. While I can't confirm the M8 size, I'll trust Umberto, amongst the others on the web that say they are, I'm sure you can stray from the torx set up up and use a socket head with washer or even your typical hex cap machine screw. I've measured my...

    Front park sensors sometimes late/nonfunctional?

I'm of no help other than offering my own experiences. Our 2015 LUX experiences random parking sensor warnings while backing up, assume its a sensitivity issue. The blind spot indicator flashes randomly as well on highways with no cars around. I find the warnings highly distracting...

2015 side step -- really a side impact safety feature?

The outside appears to me to be aluminum. If painted, that would nick up for sure with all the road dirt and debris hitting it. Unless you took it apart and then had it black anodized, but that's a chore if not impossible.

    Eco Issues - 2015 LR4

Maybe yours has the same problem as mine. See my post here

Dealer repair for stop start, put 50 miles on my rig. Sound right?

Like others my 2015 Eco went south too. It ended up being the power distribution box, part #867126.

Dealer repair for stop start, put 50 miles on my rig. Sound right?

My service manager has been known to take mine home over the weekend, that was for major engine repair. 50 miles seems in line with what I typically see.

    Running board removal question

I don't think the lack of trim makes a difference, if any its minimal.

    Running board removal question

First shot is what it looks like at a 2' eye level. Second shot is about 1' eye level. You can also pick up the aluminum extrusions under the rear passenger door. You have to stand back about 10' before you pick up the notched trim, my white paint doesn't help.

    Running board removal question

Disco Fever, Welcome. I took my boards off my 15' and I am not bothered with the trim appearance. You really can't see it from above. I'm pretty particular about these things too, nothing to be worried about in my opinion. I'll try to shoot a pic of it and post here when I have time...

2011 LR4 LUX - with no LUX emblem?

No mention of special edition at the time of ordering. hmmm. Aside from the Luxury badge, its an exact copy of our 2014. Paul, maybe those fancy running boards that are taking up room in my garage gave me that distinction? I better put them back on... :burnout:

2011 LR4 LUX - with no LUX emblem?

I was pleasantly surprised when our 2015 showed up with this and the extra "URY". Our 2014 LUX didn't have it. I've never seen LUX on any years prior to the 15'.

Intelligent stop/start able to be disabled 2015/2016?

Following up with some info after our 2015 went in for its first oil change service, etc. Upon vehicle drop off, I mentioned to the service tech to look into the Eco start / stop. It came back that the Power Supply Distribution Box ( PSDB ) went south. In the service tech words, "This box...

Rear brake pads wearing faster than fronts?

Thought I'd throw some numbers at this thread for reference. Just had the 1 year free service completed on my 2015. Service tech says my rear pads are at 4mm and ready to be changed. Vehicle has 8000 miles on it. Fun stuff!!! They want $441 to service rear only, needless to say I will be...

Intelligent stop/start able to be disabled 2015/2016?

:hmmmm: I had to have my main battery changed in June after it died. Wondering if a dead main battery hinders the Eco battery? I'll put a meter on it this weekend if I can make it off the couch.

Intelligent stop/start able to be disabled 2015/2016?

Our Eco mode has not engaged since they reflashed our ECU software earlier in the year as part of a TSB. I don't care for the feature myself.

    LR4 Rims

Off topic, I think we are all a bit miffed at this "Offroad Wheel Topic" in general, nothing against any new owners, I was once there too. I think this forum is about as clean as it gets, broken down by model. We should lobby to have the "Everything about tires for LR4/ LR3 with 18"...

Full size Spare - What will fit in the OEM space

I just didn't feel comfortable keeping tire at 15 psi and risk loosing a bead. Keeping it at a higher psi makes me feel much better and it still comes down with ease.
