Had a conversation with someone who works extensively on the V8s. his view is whether you use plastic or aluminum pipes you shld replace them every 5 years on the v8 and his view is the aluminum don't offer any real benefit.

OK a buddy's 2016 was pressure tested and is leaking coolant from the thermostat, water pump and front pipes.
I advised him to do pcv valve and vacuum pump while they're at it, and to use metal pipes from Lucky8 where available.
Any other suggestions while they're doing this?
The rear y pipe...
A heater hose or something behind the intake is leaking coolant right into the harness of the EXTERNAL oil level sensor.
Add this to the list with pvc, vacuum pump, and crossover pipes.
For the life of me i cant figure out how to access the auto high beam option in the vehicle setup menu. I followed the owners manual and dont see the option to activate auto high beam assist.
Last 2 times about 45 mins after gassing up. The obd scanner clears it no problem and then it only comes back after the next time i fill up. Guessing i need to MAF sensors.
Ok so this has been happening so i just had the tube going to the oil sensor replaced and the problem still occurs.
If i measure the oil with the hood open i get a different result than with hood closed. With hood open it tells me to add .5 quart. With hood closed it says its perfect.
