p38 engine runs after turn ignition off cant turn off
Have a 98 p38 with a 4.0 gems, fuse box went. So I replaced with what seemed to be a "good" used one. Truck would not start. after trouble shooting found on signal going to the fuel pump relay. was able to switch a ground to the 85 tab of the relay and get the truck running. starts runs fine...- skarts

265/75/16 on a coil converted P38
I have a 1998 P38 with spring conversion looking at 265/75/16 will these fit? Not doing any serious off roading Getting a realy good deal on them. Any Quck response will be apriciated, need to act fast !!!!- skarts

Its a 98 p38 looks straight forward, three bolts axel nut and caliper/bracket. just dont want to get into it and get hung up on a weekend.....- skarts

overheating waiting at drive thru
I only hear a roar from the fan when I start It cold, and it quicly subsides. Electric fan wouldn't compensate for the clutch not engaging? one is expensive the other is more expensive would hate to replace one and find out its the other........ -

I have a 94 , Just had the water pump thermostat,and hoses replaced around chriatmas time (impeler failed), Now with the warmer weather the truck runs hot when on line at the drive thru, sitting in traffic ect. Just did my head gaskets (lovly way to spend a week end) but now i have another problem , no heat the heat was working fine before I did the gaskets I tok off the hoses and tried fillig one side but it just doesnt seem to want to fill . So cheap it doesnt even have a name.... But no fear my neighbor gave me a nice 1/2 inch breaker bar and it worked wonders got the drivers side off and cleaned, going to town on the passangers side, have to take all the accesories of f a/c alternator ect....fun fun -

Just got todoing the head gasket and moving righ along, but upon opeing the rocker cover noticed alot of sludge... should i bring the head to a parts washer, or leav and run a good flush once back together also can the heads be planed? cost associated with that will be taking the heads of with... -

it is the headgasket I was able to feel where it is coming from , between 2 and 3 on the passengers side. Makes perfect sense , car running hot occasionaly running rough when started warm, Now comes the fun part changing the head gasket , Ive done numerous OHC and DOCH cars , is a push rod more... -

update... The leak is still there but discovered it is not from the gasket but towards the cylinderhead, is it possible to be leaking from the head gasket, im not sure how close the gasket is to the exhaust ports. just hoping the head isn't cracked any ideas any one?! -

I used a mirror to look underneath the manifold where it is leaking, no signof a crack I.E black lines . It actualy feel line it is comming from the gasket....
