Black plastic cladding at bottom outside of the door. It is clipped on with those ball clips. For some reason mine was undone. I pushed on it and it snapped back on.
Funny enough I thought my rear seat belts were making noise and it was the rear tailgate. I lubed it last year and that noise went away. I did try the glove box. I was going around the truck today and noticed the trim on the bottom of the passenger door was not clipped in. It was only...
I've got a noise coming from what sounds like my passenger door. It is making me nuts. It only happens when I'm going over 50mph.
Background or things I have checked:
Windshield A Pillar trim - I know people have had issues with it. I removed mine and the noise is still there.
Mirror -...
For those wondering. The 265 did fit under. I removed the heat shield, aired down, removed the hitch. Got the wheel up there, then reinstalled the hitch. Now I just need some cheap sensors and I'm good to go.
My shop that installed the tires is going to install them for free. I know any with same frequency will work but I was asking if there was one in particular that works with these wheels. The original ones I had do not fit.
I should note when I bought these wheels in 2013 for my 10 I didn't add the sensors so I've had the tire light on since then. Since I got new tires I wanted to add the sensors back in but the stock ones won't work. Trying to get finlayforprez to see what he used.
They said that sensors were too round under the washer and air would come out. In addition my friend with a 16 was there with the same wheels and his sensors worked which were also factory but his were the newer style with a different frequency.
Got a question. Finally got new tires today. I bought what I thought were the correct sensors for my truck but when the tire shop tried to install them they said they would not work with the comp wheels.
I have a 2010. Anyone know the correct sensors? These are the ones I got...
Damn. I had a full size spare as my truck has the hd package. Probably better off buying the tool to shut it off since I will be airing down the spare to get it in.
Any other ideas?
Wait you need a tps for the spare?
I've gone three years with no tps in my comp wheels. Finally since I'm getting new tires I bought 4 tps valves.
You need one for the spare?
