If you have the Heated Windscreen...
I don't understand the timing at all. I wouldn't even say it's temperature related. I've had it where I start the car, turn on both defrosters, then go out and clean the snow and ice off the car, and the front defroster has turned off already. Nokian Tires
I'm just getting to know my Nokians now here in Ontario, Canada. They seem to be pretty capable, but haven't been in any deep wet snow yet. Good in the light fluffy stuff we've been getting hit with. At least I'm in the Kitchener area, so I can still see where I'm driving.- ubp_sanity

2005 LR3 HSE Starting Problems
It sounds like the safety switch on the transmission. No idea how complicated it is on the LR's. The car thinks it isn't in Park or Neutral. It won't start in gear, and it looks like the car thinks it's in gear. If rolling it helps, it's probably mechanical in nature.- ubp_sanity

Rod mod/programmer question
I was kinda wondering something along the same lines myself. But actually wondering if you can just program in different offsets for the heights. Like have access and standard the same, but make off-road a bigger value. So, the same lift as the rod-mod, but done in software. Those values may be...- ubp_sanity

-Off topic- What kind of car did you own before your LR3?
I had an '01 Pathfinder with an Old Man Emu suspension on it. I liked the Pathfinder, the Land Rover was the logical next step from it. Also have a '99 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder, was never sold in Canada, so kinda rare.- ubp_sanity

2005 LR3 Aux Volume (I did search first 8)
I got a PAC Turbo 1 Line Driver from a local audio store, it seems to do the trick. It wasn't too expensive, $40 Canadian. I don't see it listed on the PAC website, just the Turbo X, which is a non-adjustable Line Driver with Bass Boost...- ubp_sanity

1791 Navigation Hack and NEW 2008 Map Disc
I just got an '06 a few weeks ago, it has the factory nav DVD in it still. It doesn't have a lot of the roads I use, and there has been a lot of changes to roads since then as well.
