15,000 mile oil change?
Looks like I misread my service manual also and was reading the LR2 service schedule. Just had mine done at the dealer today and confirmed it's 15k miles or one year, whichever comes sooner...- NaraBronzeLR4

Choking on brake dust!
Ironically the brake dust "matches" the Nara Bronze color perfectly, so doesn't really bug me too much. ;-D- NaraBronzeLR4

15,000 mile oil change?
When I bought my LR4 I could have sworn the dealer told me I just had to change the oil "yearly", but I just checked and my 2010 LR4 service book clearly recommends changing the oil at 6months and/or 7500 miles. Windshield issues
I second the "you get used to it" comments. Bugged the hell out of me at first. A stone then cracked my windshield and I had the opportunity to replace it with one without the lines via a 3rd party glass dealer (LR doesn't handle windshield repairs). About to make the jump to LR4 from Toyota 4Runner
Grats! 11 months and 11k miles on my Nara Bronze LR4 Lux and no issues yet. The only "gremlin" I've seen so far is a bug which sometimes causes my whole Nav/Audio system to freeze up and stop playing audio. Resolves itself after leaving the car overnight or several hours.... LR4 Windshield Defroster
I have this same issue. I find the lines themselves are dark enough that they are extremely visible and distracting in bright daylight and the lights from oncoming cars or brake lights at night seem to "light up" the grid in that area, causing glare. Disbelief that Xenon/LED’s are only available on a $9,565 package?
Option for option, horsepower for horsepower, the LR4 is the best value out there, period. Even loaded to the hilt, it's still thousands cheaper than any other offering with the same off-road potential, IMO.- NaraBronzeLR4

Lr4 Mpg
Best I've seen so far is 12-13 mpg. Only driven on my commute to work which is 10 miles, 9 of those being freeway. Only have about 200 miles so far-- I assume it should get better once broken in?- NaraBronzeLR4

Avoid the 2010 LR4!
How did you change the oil yourself? Do you have your own vacuum fluid extractor? Where do you get one of those and how much? Or did you just bring your own oil along to the dealer and "trust" that they put it in for you?- NaraBronzeLR4
