torque settings
just changed the head gasket on my freelander 1.8 4 days later i see oil deposit in the expansion tank, can anyone tell me what is the final torke of the head bolts as i have followed the manual but i would like to know what is the final torque reading of the head bolts. :confused:- drewster

timing gears
hi guys i need some help here , just replaced the head gasket on my freelander 1.8 and forgot to mark the pin position on the timing gears now i am unsure how to get it right could someone shed some light on this matter , thank you , this is my first time doing work on the motor.:albertein- drewster

after finding 5 teeth missing from the pinion gears in the ird on my freelander i have decided to take the rear pinion out and blank the hole with a metal plate as i believe that this is the best way to go for the moment, next step is to sell the damn thing, when i saw the logo { worlds best...- drewster

i had a real good look at my ird today and could'nt believe the size of the crack that runs at the bottom WOW ! seems that i need a replacement unit which i cannot afford at this time, i think i am going to take out the rear prop shaft and go with the front weel drive for now if it is safe to...- drewster
