I haven't actually gone to them and got a final quote, but he did say on the phone that the price quoted included Synthetic ... I've priced filter (probably not OEM) from Amazon and Mobile One from Costco and I came up with around $80 to $90 cost on my side (before investing in a MightyVac) ... -

I was quoted $120 by West Coast Rovers in Lake Forrest, CA. I'm outta my free oil changes and need to get my first one done. They get good Yelp reviews and he stated that they do use Synthetic. Taking it in within the next month. -

Gas door and alarm
I discovered today, if the door to the gas cap is open the car will not lock. However, if the car is locked, the gas cap door opens freely. Is the door supposed to lock when the car is locked. I had the key in my pocket at the time so not sure if the proximity sensor detected the key and... -

Rear Wiper Blade
Damn! Then why would the Rain-x site recommend the 18"er for the LR4. Right away, I noticed that it was larger ... I need to test more before I swap it out again. But it does come VERY close to the metal at the top of the glass. The prebend doesn't help either! -

LR4 First Driving Impressions
I find that the in cluster MPG rating is not accurate for me. If I do the math of miles traveled and galons filled, I always get at least 2 mpg less real-world vs what the truck is telling me. I average about 15~16mpg when I calcualte it myself. Car states I'm getting 17~18mpg ... haven't... -

I have ebony non-lux (not as soft seats) ... have had the truck for 2 years and the seats look brand new. You should treat with a good leather conditioner every few months -- more if it sits in the sun all day. -

Bluetooth Music adaptor
Note, you will have to have the iPod cable from LR to use the Anystream ... The benefit is that you do not need to charge it as it gets power right from the car. -

Mine didn't play Pandora under IOS 5.0 ... need to try 5.0.1 ... I have the Anystream device and it appears to work well. I only stream audio (Pandora, Slacker and IHeartRadio). Next track function on steering wheel control doesn't seem to work over BT for me for Pandora or Slacker. I do not... -

So you first must open the truck, turn on hazards, close door, step away then perform the procedure? Looks like the lawyers wrote this one ... probably the same ones that thought it was unsafe to program the NAV while the car is moving! Jeez -

Satellite radio problems, & AM radio problems
Well, my dealer is ordering a new unit because I complained about reception. He said that this is a known problem and this new unit is supposed to improve this. I'll post my comments once I get it installed. The part is supposed to come in next week.
