Does the existing diesel not meet US emissions or something? I just don't get why this is not offered. -

They ARE catching on as evidenced by the diesel offerings in these brands. What's not to like with huge low end torque and significantly improved fuel consumption and range? -

It's hard to understand the logic of this considering BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW, all offer diesels. It is also difficult to understand why they wouldn't offer it here when it is already in existence elsewhere. -
