Lem Forder - Control Arms
Anyone have any experience with control arms made by Lem Forder? Mine need replacing & when I got the quote I challenged the shop that services my LR4 on the cost of the parts. I was told these are superior to say the parts listed on Atlantic British for $149. Any feedback would be appreciated.- tacos&beer

Best roof rails and roof rack?
I went with the Yakima Lock-N-Load platform on Yakima crossbars & factory rails. I like being able to take the platform off with ease when not in use - which is most the time. Will take every extra MPG I can get with this rig !- tacos&beer

Got my recall done. Interesting - the letter stated 2-3 hours. My dealer needed 3 days, said they had to drop the gas tank. After picking up the vehicle, 10 miles down the road the "Check Gas Cap" light comes on. Checked it 3 times & keeps coming on. Called the dealer and they claimed it could...- tacos&beer

It's time to replace the main battery on my 2016 LR4. I have replaced batteries in the past on less "sophisticated" vehicles easily. Is there any diagnostic or computer related step that needs to happen once the new battery is in on this vehicle ?- tacos&beer

CPO warranty valuation?
According to Land Rover the CPO warranty does not cover any plastic components. They denied coverage on my recent replacement of the front crossover pipe. You got yours covered ?- tacos&beer

Yeah - I thought about that as an option but my understanding is that when you replace the battery you need to tell the vehicle (via a diagnostic tool) that there is a NEW battery. I don't have such a tool. Thanks for the battery info.- tacos&beer

I was looking for a small light duty platform that I could easily remove when not being used for an extended period of time. I opted for the Yakima Lock-N-Load (K-55"x49"). Why is the "most capable 4x4" so fragile ?
Never claimed that the Tahoe had the same potential as the LR4. Was merely making a point about durability in light off road usage for a vehicle that lays its claim to fame to off road ruggedness.
