    I had same problem with my sound. I disconnected the battery cables for 5-10 minutes. touched them together as well. everything worked fine after that.

    if the Rover is turned off for 10 mins or more and I re-crank it......the CD reverts back to the first trac, as opposed to remembering what was playing before I killed the ignition. this is very frustrating when im in the middle of a 15 min Phish jam and I have to start over from the beginning...

    just had same problem. I have 2009 LR3 though. shut car off maybe a minute and re-start and no volume on Cd or radio. the presets wouldn't even work sometimes. shut car off and on couple more times and still no volume. ill let it "rest" and see if it re-sets and works. will take to dealer...

    only thread I could find on this too. having the same problem. it started when I took in for bushing replacement. when I picked it up, everything had recently zeroed out and now every time the car is parked for an hour or so, everything on display re-sets. manufacturer warranty expires...

    ive looked inot it some and as weird as it seems....Ford apparently has a better extended warranty once its OUT of the factory warranty. i think once its out of warranty i can get 5-7 more years through it, but if its still under factory warranty, i can only get 3 more years extended. please...

    Yep, youre right. He said looked like bushing and would replace both, eventhough i just noticed one leaking oil. He said other would prob go out soon so will replace it as well and do alignment ...all covered by factory warranty. 3000k miles or 3 months left on it. Appointment is next week...

    best "touch-up" paint for scratch?

    im going to get some of that Ultimate Compound by Meguires next time im at walmart. i got some rain x spray on wax and used it on a couple smaller scratches and it helped so im sure the U compound will be even better. but for the deeper scratch i may go ahead and get some touch-up paint...

    its been buffed and its still there. a portion is very thin...another portion is deeper. its def santorini black. i had read on the forum about dr. color chip. ultimate compound better? ill read up on atlantic british too.

    questions from (soon to be) new LR owner

    ill pay attentin next time (hopefully there isnt one). it rev'd high yesterday, but not very long and came down by itself. the first time it didnt seem that it would rev down (was reved high for 10 seconds or so)....so i tapped the gas and then it finally did. i had put 89 octane gas in it...
