Wiring Options for added Fog Lights

It would be best to add a wiring harness with a relay that has 5 connections: power from battery (with inline fuse), ground to chassis, output to each new lamp, and a trigger. The trigger could be a tap into the output of the stock switch. This way, the new lights are powered from the battery...

Has anyone here supercharged or turbocharged their LR4?

I spend a lot of time in sport mode in my 2013 Lux. I like it more for the shift curve when slowing than accelerating. However, I don't get locked out of 6th gear. Sometimes I am driving at freeway speeds (70-75) when I realize I am still in Sport Mode but RPMs are the same as in Drive at same...

    interior lights not coming on...sometimes

Something doesn't sound right. Have your alternator checked when you replace your battery. My original alternator would charge at idle, but not under load. Had battery trouble on long trips. After replacing alternator and battery, no more troubles. Good luck!

    interior lights not coming on...sometimes

Interior lights are on the battery saver circuit. When the supplied voltage drops too low, the battery saver prevents the battery from draining any further. I noticed after replacing my battery recently that it takes a lot longer before the battery saver kicks in.

LR4 A/C no longer maintains cabin temp on manual

I have owned my 2013 LR4 since 2016. Since then, I mostly use the air-conditioning in the following manner: manual fan speed, similar temperature settings for driver and passenger, recirculate off. During the summer months, I turn the driver temperature control to "Lo" and the cabin cools...

Any advice for a newbie buying a CPO LR4?

Greetings, I am excited to finally be entering the world of Land Rover. I have been a Jeep Grand Cherokee owner for the past 23 years and I am finally ready to move on. I am looking forward to getting to know some of you in the coming weeks and months. I will be purchasing a 2013...

Considering used LR4, can dash trim be swapped out?

Where are you located kdeg? I don't have an LR4 yet but I am starting to shop now. I have turned down some though for not having the features that I want, including the black lacquer trim. Let me research this some more to find out the labor involved. If I know I can do a swap, it would be much...

Considering used LR4, can dash trim be swapped out?

Thanks for the info Laszlo. Looks like it is over $700 just for the four doors. At that price, the only way I would do this is to swap with someone (or another used vehicle on the lot) that has black lacquer and would prefer walnut. I am thinking black leather and black trim sparrky. My search...

Considering used LR4, can dash trim be swapped out?

Thanks. Will the dealer tell me if the pieces are direct replacements instead of the laminate with adhesive?

Considering used LR4, can dash trim be swapped out?

I am new to the forum as I am strongly considering switching from 20 years of Jeep Grand Cherokees to a used 2011-2012 LR4. I have read up on all of the stick on dash kits which I have absolutely no interest in. My question: can all of the wood trim pieces (dash and 4 doors) be swapped out for...
