    I had the liberty to have access to some shop manuals but cannot find the location of the Crankshaft position sensor. By some illustrations it appears on the back of the block near the trans. It's from my 2010 LR4, 5.0L V8. The shop manual has NO VALUE to location, page 1964 for reference...

    I had a local shop put in two rear sensors ( he said air was leaking past them and they were bad ). After $250 or so they still don't function. He said they need to be paired or code cleared or driven at a constant rate for 20 minutes. I have researched several opinions on this, anyone have any...

    Just had the code pop up. Wifey drove to Traverse city and possibility of low octane gas and or gas cap not tightened. Last option is VVT sensor or actuator.
