Yes it was just the amplifier for me. I went through the entire can bus fiber loop unplugging each step along the way. It was all good up until the amplifier.
Once i replaced the amp it all worked as it should.

If you're doing a lot of highway i would go with the Hankooks.
If most miles were done in town (like mine) then the wrangler Duratracs are ok. They just get a little louder on the highway. Not bad but still noticeable. They also have to be rotated like crazy to keep the wear even.
