Been doing it ole school down in Central America for about ten years in my 67 SllA diesel from Nicaguraga to Columbia have been down to the Darian within 60 miles of the border then Over to turbo Columbia on the south side. Go to the rovers north web site and look in the drivetrain section and there is the factory drawing and parts list with number by number factory part and placement -

Sounds like you may have disturbed some long standing crud , will it hand prime with the prime lever ? -

All series manuals are downloadable from different web sources and online clubs . Service manual would be Haynes and is available via Amazon mail order -
Clutch/Brake Fluid Reservoir
Neoprene will be eaten by the caustic brake fluid I would recommend a tube bender and copper refrigeration tube it is easy to bend and flare -

Rovers north ,, quick google search will find them -
rear crankshaft oil seal
No sealant on the seal oil pan only and use some thing better than Hylomar -

Enjoy your city tractor ,,, I have owned a 67 for almost ten years she is slow stinky loud and rough but I would not have in any other way -
