Pesky Hood Sensor Replacement
My '16 Landmark had to get a new hood sensor about 3k miles in. Got errors about the hood open and couldn't lock the doors. Took the dealership 30 mins to swap out. -

Driver's Seat Bottom Cushion Movement
Great question - and I really don't know for certain. I'm leaning towards the seat cushion because I only feel the movement underneath - not in my arms from the steering wheel, etc. -

Driver's Seat Bottom Cushion Movement
'16 LR4 Landmark and the bottom seat cushion on the driver's seat has a very slight movement with the inertia of the car during a start or stop. Drove me crazy at first, but now I've almost gotten used to it. Plan to have the dealership look at it during my first service, but curious if anyone... -

Funny... I started to type that on my post, but deleted since in technically "works", but I agree. I drove an Audi with the start/stop a couple of months ago in Europe and it was pretty smooth and seamless... didn't bother me at all. The LR4 - totally not seamless. When the engine shuts off... -

Seriously - enjoy the truck. Only little things that I've been nagged with so far: Top rear hatch has to be slammed just right to close, but it has gotten better. I feel like the driver's seat shifts ever so slightly when starting and stopping. -

If you are shopping for a MY16.5 LR4 be aware
My '16.5 Landmark has ACC. It did come with an insert that explained you may have (and do) a mute button instead of the voice command button. I agree, it's insane for a $66k car to not enable me to say "call home" without taking my hands off the steering wheel, but it wasn't a deal breaker. -

Curious about this, too. I downloaded the little 'activate' movie and played it in my new LR4 last week. Found a site with a bunch of really old stuff you could download, but nothing I'd be interested in. -

Front park sensors sometimes late/nonfunctional?
Coming from a '14 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit with front park sensors, it's odd to me the front sensors have to be manually enabled when pulling in. On the Jeep they activated automatically when the vehicle was in Drive and got below a certain speed limit - worked really well. Oh well, just... -

Voice Recognition
My '16.5 Landmark came with a one page 'supplement' to the manual explaining the voice control button was only in certain markets and it may be a mute button instead. Which, in my car, it is a mute button. -
