Yeah, the actuator is physically working, but doesn’t sound strong enough to pull the latch open. I don’t think anything has come loose because I can pull up on the cable and pop the latch. Most that have something come off has to push in line with a tool to pop the latch. I’ll try and clean... -

avslash, do you have the ARB bumper? The shop said that there wasn’t enough structure and space to use anything they had. That means if I want em, I’ll have to use those hoist ring types. I’m interested is photos of what you have. -

The ARB has winch mout to bumper and bumper to frame. I looked at those, and didn’t think that a single bolt would be enough surface area to be pulling on the ARB skin. Plus, I don’t know enough to find a retaining clip to secure the ring to protect the bumper. And black oxide surface rusts... -

Yeah, the more I think about it and measure the bumper, the more I’m leaning toward the third photo option as the rest are just too big to fit anywhere with some structure. I may just forget about them and carry some extra straps to wrap around the bumper in the event. -

Have you got part numbers or a place to purchase by any chance? I’ve contacted PowerfulUK, but they only sell the RHD units. eBay has tons of different part numbers and it’s quite confusing. -

I have only seen the guys at PowerfulUK do it. I'm in the US, but the process should still be the same I assume. I have an ARB bumber, so I shouldn't have to worry with the resulting gap at the bottom from the new housings. I did know about the grill, and I was going to replace this one anyway... -

Me too, but I’m biased lol. I’d like to know where the I can get the side markers and what winches fit this bumper. Right now, mine has two holes and a cover plate. -

How many miles on your LR4?
I’ve got a 2013 lux with 102,000 miles. I’m the second owner, so I’m not sure in the maintenance, but records show it was serviced every 7,500 miles or so. I’ve had no issues so far other than the fuel mileage indicator estimates high by about 2.5 mpg. -

Folding mirrors while locking
I get an incomplete load every time. Never had any issues though. I was worried that the motors would give too. Mine is a secondhand ‘13 and they are still working fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Advice on peeling dash
Just a final update - I got everything back together this weekend and cleaned all the leather with Chemical Guys cleaner and applied the leather serum to the dash. The only advice I have for the next guy/gal is to make sure you get the two bolts out of the bottom of the floor console out... -

Check engine light, 2016 LR4, 14k miles
If it does turn out to be emissions related, remember that the EPA has a federal mandated warranty on emissions components. 2 yr/24k miles for anything that fails you in an emissions inspection (if your state has them). 8 yr/80k miles on major components (cats, computers, and obd systems)... -
