recommended oil
I had the engine oil changed at around 1000 miles on my new V8 SE from the LR delearship and they put in Mobil 1 synthetic, however since it was not "scheduled" maintanence they charged me almost 130 bucks for it. I remember the service rep. saying that if it ws a scheduled maintainence they... -

LR3 Break-In Period I also believe in "breaking in an engine" so I took precautions and went easy on my LR3 for the first 1000 miles or so and just had my engine oil changed at the LR dealer (charged me $130 for the oil change as the maintenance warranty only covers the scheduled oil changes... -
