LPG Conversion for 4.0L V6
I think it would be more than a rechip - wouldn't there have to be a new tank, to hold the pressurized LPG, as well as probably a new cylinder head or pistons as likely the compression would need to change? I am also curious about this, are there kits available? -

hehe well i kinda thought that might be the case, but compared to the other side, which is basically clean except for brake dust, it is oozing rather prolifically out of that spot. I just don't know what it is. I guess if it's not a problem, I won't worry about it... just would like to know... -

he who smelt it, dealt it. Does that have ACE? I seem to remember some high pitched squealing coming from the ACE pump, not sure whether i would have called it a "fart" though. -

yeah, its hard to see there, but its quite thick and the entire inside of the wheel, as well as all surrounding parts are coated in it. the RH side is comparitively clean. I am not sure what to call it, but the part i am referring to the part circled in the new pic here. I guess its a bad... -

Done! And, she shifts smoother and quieter and *feels* a little faster <g>. Also seems to have gotten rid of the juddery takeoff I first get when it starts cold. Thanks again for the responses I got, and for the forum in general! adam -

well update, such as it is. So its Sunday morning, and I used the extractor to remove the 3 bolts holding in the filter. Naturally, no one in town has these, so its time for the ol' Slot it with a hacksaw and use a sccrewdriver trick.. Grrrrrr... oh well, they seem to have these belleville... -

Can anyone tell me what this part is called and what I would need to purchase in order to stop it leaking? This is on the driver's side front inside the wheel area. Grease appears to be oozing out of the open area. The passengers side is completely clean, nothing but brake dust in that... -

Oh my god you can't imagine how frustrated I am... its 8:00pm, dark, and my truck's in pieces. It was easy enough to drain, but upon taking the pan off to get to the filter, I found that the torx-bits that hold the filter body and tube on are apparently made of cheese or a similar substance... -

OK - so i WAS going to change the ATF and filter on my 2001 DII and, while I don't see that there is anything particularly blocking the little pan i would need to drop to replace the filter, i cannot see in any way where I might be able to pour more ATF in once its drained. I know there is... -

Joey, Do you know whether the 84,000 mile service would be any different on a 2001 Disco II SE7? Would i be safe to follow this chart, or do you know of an updated one out there? Adam
