Front Air Struts - time to replace...what else "while I'm in there"?
LCA's have been done, including firmer rearward lower bushings. I have Arnott on order (should arrive Monday) but am still trying to source Bilstein B6. I own some euro service/repair shops in Calgary so will have our team of tech's do the supply/install ;) Feel free to DM me for anything... -

Thanks for the link. Yes doing all 4, and agreed its likely just the shocks...but definitely replacing as many items as possible "while in there" including airbags. Any suggestions of other items to replace while in there? -

Looks like oil is leaking from the front air struts in my 2010 LR4. They also aren't riding as well as they once did. 180,00km (111,000miles) on the vehicle. I was hoping to replace with Bilstein air struts, but can't find any readily available...so I'll be using the Arnott brand. While I'm... -

LR4 5.0 V8 - recent timing chain service with 4 new camshaft adjusters - still seems somewhat noisy??
I partly agree that it could be injectors....I do think they have become noisier with age. I've also heard cam follower (fuel pump) could also be the issue. I've owned the car since since 60,000 km so have a pretty good feel for the sounds it makes, but it's easy to become accustom to them... -

(If anyone has any tips on how to post an mp4 (or other format), please let me know) My LR4 (Canadian spec) has 175,000 km on it. I have never had any codes related to timing, but did have an intermittent ticking sound that was coming from a cam adjuster. I love my LR4 and plan on keeping it... -

LR4 to LR3 - tail lights "backdate" ... has anyone done this
I love my 2010 LR4, but have never liked the taillight design. Has anyone successfully installed stock (OEM) LR3 taillights on their LR4? Perhaps using replacement LED bulbs in the LR3 taillights? I'm not sure if the LR4 taillights have built-in resistors, or how it is wired from the factory?
