Depreciation Value for LR4 after accident
Man, that sucks! I know when I'm shopping if I see a vehicle has been in an accident I move on. You have no idea of the quality of work the person had done. Yes, documentation helps, but I tend to just keep searching. Make sure you pursue the DV claim. It will be worth it. -

How do you sit?
I roll with the seat up high with some recline. Makes me fell like I'm sitting on top of the truck looking down on the hood instead of the vehicle feeling wrapped around me sitting low like in my 2011 Ford explorer. Brings me back to my D2 days. -

Drivers side sunroof drains slow?
I wondered about the bag of foam stuffed down into that cavity. If you say you don't notice much noise difference, the next time I'm in there I may take it out. I could see it blocking the drain. I don't believe there is much difference between the driver side vs the passenger side front... -

That's a nice looking rig. I wish I could have found a gray or black one. I knew I wanted a LR4 but also had to move fast. I'd say I only settled on the color. What was the dealer asking for it? 2014 with 75k is a good find. Mine is at 2014 and had 58k on the odometer. -

Just to close the loop on this thread. I myself don't feel comfortable doing the job. I took the LR4 to an independent shop up the road who only works on British vehicles. I left it over night so the mechanic could drive it cold and feel what I feel. The mechanic called me later that day and... -

headlight question
Interesting thread as I just noticed this yesterday as I say another LR4 turning and noticed while the turn signal was on, the running led light strip turned off..... I never noticed that before... I'm in the US and guessed it was expected as hickersb mentioned. -

That would boggle my mind if this was some sort of feature. What would be the purpose of such timer? Interested in knowing if setting the time back on the truck coincides. -

@gsxr - I have 58k on it. You are not kidding about the CAT being right there. Everything looks nice and dry. This is supposed to be lifetime fluid? I recall on my last truck, no one wanted to touch a fluid change as my truck had over 100k on it. Everything was running fine, so I did it... -

Thanks for the replies. The video sure helps point out where things are. I was just up under it and now understand the skid plate needs to be removed as well a heat shield. Man, it shouldn't be this hard. All I want to do is check the fluid level. -

Dang, I literately picked mine up 2 weeks ago... If this was available when I was looking I would have certainly of pick this up at 26k. Nice upgrades, wish mine had some of those. I've never seen a spare tire mounted on the back before. What did you have plugged into passenger's cigarette port? -
OEM hitch receiver, or aftermarket?
@bbyer, I like the looks of that hitch. I just went with an aftermarket hitch. I pull a small trailer and that's about it. I watched the video on installing the tail light harness. Seems straight forward. I will look to pick one up shortly. -

My 7 day period is up and I decided to keep it. I like the way it drives and the functionality is what I need. For anyones information, I wouldn't use Carvana again. Too much hassle and trying to schedule delivery or pickup of a vehicle becomes problematic. I'd rather just get it all done is... -
