Pretty awesome... but bloody expensive.... front/center/rear locking diffs... I would only buy an older one that wasn't as nicely appointed. Messing up a nice 50k vehicle is one thing, but a new G550 is over 89k. Ouch. -

When I went to Moab last fall (November ish), Lions Back was indeed closed. Can still do the short, but fun baby lions back or whatever that is called. -
iPhone 3g & LR3?
While on my first bluetooth iPhone 3G call yesterday, it sounded like there was an echo in the LR3's system. Maybe it is just mine, but I am curious if anyone else experiences this issue. -

Tipping Over
On the dash there is a light that looks like the LR3 from behind with an arrow pointing out on each side. I am assuming that is a bank angle warning, but of course this assumption is without looking at the manual. -

Pretty sure the LR3 will yell at you when you approach that angle. A 30 degree bank is pretty serious, and even 20 degrees will feel odd the first few times. -

I've been using LR Denver East since I moved up here and have only received excellent service, but that would be even farther for you from Boulder, though not as far as the springs. -

Altimeter Maxes out at 9990 ft.? Really?
Without WAAS capability or WAAS coverage for the GPS (pretty sure the LR3 does not have it), the vertical accuracy is only good to a few hundred feet. WAAS is a FAA system that adds vertical accuracy for GPS approaches for use with aircraft, but there are land based GPS systems that have it now... -
Talk me out of even considering a Nissan Armada
I've driven the Infinity version of that vehicle and thought it drove horribly, but just my opinion. The LR3 is a very nice ride in all conditions and I honestly think it drives even better when the weather turns to $hit. If you can wait a month or so, you may start seeing some of the 2007... -
Has anyone changed the fog lights to HID fog lights
There is an ashtray in the foglight assembly? Oh, and I agree with Houm_WA. HID should be reserved as a "driving light" and not a fog light. -
voided warranty?
If that is the case, it would only void the warranty for the systems on that wiring harness. If your transfer case failed, for example, that would still be under warranty. I believe the law is such that modifications can only void warranties on specific items that failed because of the modification. -
DO NOT buy your LR3 tires from NTB...
I put on the tires about 8000 miles ago and started to see some balance issue about 4000 miles ago. I thought this may be due to several trips offroad, but the balance was never bad, just noticeable. I got the whole thing realigned (LR3 issue seems standard) and balanced and has been great... -
