Meee too! The guts of the alarm ecu are surprisingly clean. Next I was going to take a peek at the BCU. There is one wire which appears to route through a piece of tubing towards the drivers side. I read on a forum the spider unit on this model controls the door locking/alarm functions as well. Kinda odd to have this go out at the same exact time, but seen stranger things happen. I am going to use the bypass for sale at LR to see. I did in the past have problems with it shutting down...- crownaviation

Door lock actuator
I recently lost the use of my door locks on my 96 Disco. This all appeared along with alarm malfunction (dead) and ignition issue (also dead).
