Greetings, I plan on replacing out my old brake pads on my Rover. Can anyone give me any pointers on the proper tools, and sizes I'll need? Also, can it be done without having to open the brake resevoir component? Thanks.

Haven't worked on the 04 yet, but as far as brakes go if it is just the pads it should be real easy.

Just two bolts need to be removed per caliper, can't tell the size from the manual, but I would guess 14mm.

It is always best to open the brake reservoir so that when you compress the brake (with old pads) using a C-Clamp the brake fluid has somewhere to go.

Put in the new pads and your done.
