I'm thinking of sourcing a set of 20" Range Rover Sport S/C OEM wheels/summer tires to put on my '05 LR3 for summer driving - saving my Pirelli Scoropion Zero's for winter.
Save for the obvious speedo calclations (seems like the RRS 20's would be about 5% off from the stock LR3 size), are there any watchouts here - anyone have experience with this setup?
Thanks!
You can see them on mine before I sold them and put on 18's more fitting to the set up. No need to inquire further, they were perfect and exactly the same overall size, you just use tires to the right size, not RRS spec but lr3 spec. In other words, I had 275/45x20 which was just right. I tried 285/50 which looked great but rubbed on the inside upper control tower/arm. I had Toyo proxes ST and would highly suggest them.
See first 2 photos on link. Just remember to also get the tpms sensors too and you ought to have a 5th matching spare in my opnion. This size will fit below but may interfere with the tow block. It's either close or a problem, I can't remember. You could just get 4, test fit one, then get a 5th if it works or go for the tire carrier that British Pacific carries.
