2001 - Rear Door Stuck Closed

I have a 2001 Discovery and the rear door will not open. I have removed the LR label and sprayed lubricant from the exterior to make sure nothing is jammed or stuck. I have also removed the rear door interior panel and I can feel the interior lever is attached to the locking mechanism. All appears to be moving correctly. The exterior lever just moves back and forth without resistance. Also, the door latch moves up and down electrically and with the key. Anyway ideas on how to get the door open? Once open I can look a little harder to find whatever the problem maybe. Thanks.
