I washed my truck yesterday (2005 HSE, 35K miles)... and noticed from the drivers side right around the location of the suspension compressor, a very slight almost imperceptible "sssss" noise after the truck was off for about 15 mins. The LR3 was in offroad height (so I can wash underneath a bit better).
Surprised me, it sounded exactly like an air leak from an old basketball, or pool raft, etc. I couldnt figure out where it was coming from (it was about to downpour rain). It didnt seem to be lowering itself (its not the same as the "sss" from the lowering / raising / self adjusting
Prior to this, LR3 was parked overnight, I started it up, raised to offroad height, turned it off, then washed... and about 15 mins later I heard this hiss. No problems / warnings / other issues with suspension (yet)
Any ideas? Normal or should I go to dealer?
