2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Question

I just got mine last week and I have 2 questions:

In the daytime I can't see the instrument panel with sunglasses on or if it is overcast. Guess I could turn the headlights on and it gives me kind of a backlit numbers. Any other way to light the numbers up?

Also on the bottom of the mirror are garage door openers but I can't see them at night. Is there a backlight somewhere I am missing?

Please help if you can ..

Thanks for your help although my '06 RRS-Supercharged doesn't even have the red needles. It has the black needles. Very hard to see with a dark background. I think the photos shown there are the larger truck, the HSE. I appreciate you helping.
