Hi everyone, my first time here. Im in love with my '96 Rover but lately, it's been one thing after another. Just serviced it for state inspection at Firestone. They called and said it passed. Afet I came to pick it up, the air suspension would not raise to "STANDART" level:mad:.

It's still in "CRAWL" or "Access" mode. Now, the back air bags slowly rise, but no the front.
I did some research and found on this site

http://roverservice.com/servicedep/rover_tips.asp#
IT SAYS:
COMMON PROBLEMS:

Lifting the car on service lifts that dangle the axles can damage the air bags. When lifting a Rover on such a lift pay attention that the air bags do not pull away from the end caps and deflate. If they do, you will have to carefully guide them back together and hope the system re-inflates on startup. Otherwise, you'll need a Testbook reset.

So, who do blame? Myself for driving off home because it's a block away, or Firestone for screing it up by lifting the car?
It worked fine before the whole time. As of now, there are no fault messages. I like to do thing myslef instead of going to these services that just F.. it up even more!!!!!!!:argh:

First welcome to the forum... you can blame firestone, but they probably will not do anything... if the link still works there is a tool in my signature for EAS faults that will make life owning a Rover with EAS much easier.
