ACE filter

2001 disco 2-does anyone know where I can get an ACE filter? I went to the dealership in san diego and they told me I had to buy the whole ACE valve package thingy that the filter goes in for some crazy price. needless to say I am not buying a several hundred dollar part just for the $20 or $30 filter inside. I looked around the internet with no success and NAPA would never stock something like that, hell they don't even have air filters for land rovers.
