I am on stock 18 (255/60/18) and wanted to know if I can use a 19 inch RRS wheel as a spare (255/50/19).

You can use a 255/55/19 for a spare, but a 255/50/19 will be too small. I would also be wary about using the RRS wheel because the LR3 has higher weight ratings on its wheels. If you're strictly keeping it on road, it will probably be fine, but just know that the RRS sport wheels are not rated for LR3 weight. Also, I have no idea what the offset is on the RRS wheels, so I don't know if they will actually work.

I'll bet you that some of the RRS wheels have nearly the same load rating if not most. The vehicle weighed the same and had the same capabilities.

As for size, most definitely, use the same diameter tire. That means stock 18 to 19 tires as noted.

I am confused; all I need to know if a RRS wheel with 255/60/19 would be OK to use as a spare (if needed) when the other three wheels on my LR3 are 255/60/18

I'm confused as to what size your RRS tire is. First you said 255/50/19 then 255/60/19. Either way, neither will work. Well, technically, they will allow the car to roll, but you'll get an air suspension bong and drop to your bump stops. You will also probably get a terrain response error message and a bunch of other warnings because the speed sensors will be all out of whack with one tire that is a different size.

If you have standard wheels and tires on your LR3, then the only sizes you can use for a spare are 255/55/19 or 255/60/18. These sizes are the same diameter and interchangeable.

Thanks for the information; i'll keep my eye open for a 18 inch lr3 wheel

Why do you keep writing different and most likely incorrect 19" tire sizes? RRS do not come with either of those. Start over with correct information.
