Bottle Jack

Pulled out the bottle jack the other day only to find it won't lift. I can pump the handle all I want but the rams never move up. I changed the jack oil but still no joy. Any suggestions as to a cure, and yes I did check that the relief valve was closed.

It sounds like you might still have some air in it. Top it up with some more oil till it overflows and see how it goes.

Spend $15 or $20 for a new jack with a higher rating? They even make 'em red!
