I have identified 2 Codes on my Land Rover Discovery 2001:

P1514 Neutral Drive Load Fault

P1551 Idle Air Control Valve Fault

Can someone help to translate it into "parts and labor" language? Can it be done by yourself or regular mechanic, or only at the Dealership?

Both code pertain to the idle control solinoid

Thanks!
I use to work as a car mechanic many years ago. Have tools and garage to work in. Have already ordered idle control valve. I can manage replacing it. Anything else I need to know?

Let me know how it goes after installing the new idle control valve.
Are you following any major service list if not we should talk.

I have ordered new Idle Control Valve from partsgeek.com
for $200 (made by Bosch). When I opened the box, it was nicely painted used valve (market value $10-$20). Nice business. No return or credit so far. Just bunch of stupid emails. BTW: no customer service is available over the phone.

In the mint time, I have removed my old valve, cleaned it and placed it back.
It is working just fine. 20 minutes working time.
