It looks like a good replacement, but I cannot get over the exterior design. Looks far too much like a Ford Exploder. I think I will stick with the LR4 until the Defender comes out.

I just wonder which Ford the new Defender is going to look like?

My guess is maybe a smaller version of the Ford Expedition, which I guess will be OK.

If it is somewhere in size between the Explorer and the Expedition, it might have a market.

Well Ford is bringing back the old style 1070's Bronco . Seems that would be pretty close to what the Defender would resemble?

That design would not meet European pedestrian safety regulations. The new Defender will have to meet them, being a "World" vehicle. This Bronco is for US market I suppose.
