Hello all!

I have a 99 Disco with door lock problems. The pasenger door and the rear door will lock with the remote but will not unlock with the remote. The lock knob moves up a little but door will not open. I have pulled the inside cover off of the door and also pulled out the acuator. The acuator is free from the locking mechanism and only attached by the wires now. When I hit the lock and unlock button on the remote, the acuator arm pops up and falls back down. It does this weather I lock or unlock it. Shoud it ever stay extended out or does it always fall back doen into the housing? Also I have oiled everything in the door. Will it hurt to spray lub into the acuator?

Help plaease!!

Acuator

I ordered one as well but the dealer ordered the wrong part. Please let me know if the new acuator fixes the problem.

Thx
