error code 1316

Error code 1316- Definition: Spark plug voltage detection circut fault- left bank (2)
Probable causes:
1- poor connection at spark plug voltage detection module
2- open or short circut between VDM and ECM

ok, what the hell does this mean? i had bank 2 sensor 1 code and replaced the sensor, then replaced the plugs and wires. this code comes up and i recheck everything and is ok... truck wants to die when i come to a park or stop. whats next?????

What wires and plugs did you use? Are the tight on the coil and the plug?

Check the coil packs that are for bank 2 and make sure the wires in the back or bottom are secure. Each pack has 2 wires that are screwed into the bottom make sure one of them are not loose. Recheck plug diagram and make sure that the plug wires are true. Your Rover will still run with a plug not connected but you will hear it. Sounds like ( tic tic tic) Make sure the correct wires length go to the correct plug. If not they can pull out when your rover starts do to the torque of the engine.
