I’m trying to track down the source of what I perceive to be drivetrain slop or slack and a slight vibration in the front.

2013 LR4
152k miles

Every once in a while if I accelerate from a stop I feel a mild clunk and it feels like the drivetrain catching up the rotation of the wheels to me, on one side, depending if I’m turning left or right.

I also feel a very subtle vibration coming from the front. It plays with my head, I think it’s coming g from the center but sometimes it feels like it’s at the wheel when turning. This is mostly felt between 45 and 60

I also sometimes experience a bit of binding at full crank under mild acceleration. It feels a lot like what a limited slip rear end feels like, of what a Detroit locker feels like when it locks up on you suddenly.

I have replaced the cv axles, front and rear drive shafts, lower control arms and sway bar bushings within the last 40-60k miles.

Today I was starting some diagnosis and I don’t think this sounds or looks right. Anybody know what amount of play I should see for free rotation if the axle before it engages with the diff.

Drivers side wheel was down, passengers was up and the noise is not the upper cv so I’m assuming it’s coming from the diff. I put both sides up and drivers is the same.

Reminds me very much of a diff where the backlash is off.
