curious to see if anyone has tried these tires in the 19" size?
Discount tire reviews have them at 5/5 star rating and they can't be beat at $185 each.

19" toyo HT worked well for us for 14,000 miles with lots of life left, can't speak to offroading.

Certain Hankooks are pretty well regarded. I have a list of tires here:

Here is an article on the Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10

I just ordered a set of Dynapro ATM RF10 265 60 18's today from my local Discount Tire for $711.00 including tax, mount and balance. They will only be .5" larger in diameter according to the tire calculator http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html. Going with 255 60 18 will keep the diameter the same as stock but the RF10's don't come in that size. I did a lot of research and it seems like they will be a great tire. I have an LR3 HSE with 19's and was able to find a set of take off 18's from another LR3. Going with 18's opens the door to a lot more options for tires. I had a loaner with 18's not to long a go and I actually liked the quality of the ride better than my 19's so I am going to be happy with a better ride and spending a lot less money.
