HDC/SPECIAL PROGRAMS warning lights

1st time poster, good afternoon,..I have a 2006 LR3 and once a week I get an HDC fault light on..1 second later the brake light comes on, 1 second later the symbol with the "tipping LR3" comes on...when these all come on, the suspension drops and can't be raised..no special functions are available..all warning lights go away when I turn the car off (I usually have to do it a traffic light) Took it in to the dealership when it was under warranty and they replaced the right suspension arm or something..when that happened the lighst were red and the suspension was as low as could be and was bouncing all over the road..since then, just the orange-ish lights that turn off after restarting the car..any ideas?

Chk battery 1st

I am not 100% sure what may be causing this in your case, but I have read alot on various boards about a low-ish battery (but not low enough to not be able to start your truck) causing HDC, brake, suspension faults at random with LR3s and RRS's. Might be worth a check of the battery esp if its still the OEM 2006 battery. On my 2005, the original battery lasted until this June, ie June 2009, when I bought it CPO and the dealer replaced it with a new one right before my test drive.

Battery is always a good place to start; lots of weird lights come on when the charge isn't perfect. The bouncing on the road is normal when the suspension is completely lowered - you're riding close to (or on? dunno!) the bump stops, basically with a peice of rubber providing most of the "suspension" for the truck...
