hello and taigate window problem after replacing battery

Well im new to this site i thought i would say before i asked for your help so a big HELLO from me

i have just changed the battery on my freelander and we cant get the back window to stay shut, when you press the button in the car it goes up then makes a beeping sound and then drops back down but if you lock the doors from the outside you can close the window with the key but when you open the door it drops back down...I NEED your HELP, has anyone got any ideas???

This is an odd issue, but sounds like a bad sensor in the window.

its going in the garage tomorrow so when its fixed i will let you know what the problem was.
